West Central London's Assembly Member Tony Devenish today called on the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to re-open the Police Station in Notting Hill - just as he has in Uxbridge in the run-up to the parliamentary by-election.
Tony explains,
"I'm outside Notting Hill Police station which was closed by Sadiq Khan several years ago.
"Sadiq says he hasn't got any money, but he's got several hundred million pounds in capital and a £21 billion overall budget.
"But this week Mr. Khan's cynicism reached a new high.
"Uxbridge police station has been reopened simply because there was a parliamentary byelection.
"Come on, Sadiq, Notting Hill needs a police station too: pull your finger out."
